Robots That Vacuum and Mop
Robots that vacuum and mop provide the convenience of cleaning dry debris (dust dirt, grit) and wet mess (spills, staining) in one go without having to swap out devices. They can also reduce space when compared to two separate units, especially in smaller living areas.
A good combination bot must be able to navigate well and have excellent obstacles avoidance. Look for models with docks that allow them to automatically empty their bins, replenish their water tanks and machine-wash the mopping pads.
1. Eufy S1 Pro
It's one of the easiest robots to install that we've tested. Unpacking the S1 Pro is simple, and a quick-start guide will have you up and running with a clean, full dust bag, a hard floor solution and water tank in no time at all.
The S1 Pro is a powerful small machine that can is able to clean up a storm and vacuums well too. The mops are spun at high speed and use 2.2 pounds (1kg of force) to quickly take away pet hair, dirt and sticky dried spills. The vacuum cleaner comes with four power settings, a variety of attachments and brushes and an intuitive app which lets you choose the kind of cleaning you want for each room.
For instance, you can decide to let the robot do a deep clean in the living and kitchen areas but go easy on the spare bedroom. The S1 Pro has excellent front collision sensors as well as smart navigation technology. It is able to recognize small obstacles that other models cannot. Its only drawback is that it tends to hit objects and walls at full speed. However, a quick glance at the cleaning history in the app tells you exactly what it's doing as well as where it's heading and what obstacles it's run into or avoided.
The docking station comes with a handy LCD screen that shows when maintenance is needed, such as emptying debris and cleaning the water tank that is dirty. It also mixes detergent into the tank in a controlled manner with a 600ml of eufy solution.
Both the S1 Pro mop and vacuum have a long running time. The mop is able to run for 184 minutes in Quiet Mode, and the vacuum can last for 136 minutes in standard mode, before needing to recharge or returning back to the base. You can view the entire cleaning information in the app, which is intuitively laid out and is easy to comprehend however we would have liked to be able to differentiate between a vacuum only or a vacuum/mop clean when examining a cleaned area in the history of cleaning.
2. Roborock S8 Pro Ultra
The Roborock S8 Pro Ultra is the most recent version of the company's most popular robot mop and vacuum. The model this year has an agitator that doubles as its mopping pad. This improves the cleaning capabilities of carpets with this model. The S8 Pro Ultra has an enhanced suction power that enables it to pick up finer hairs and other debris other robotic cleaners may miss.
The Roborock model, just like the other two models I tested, has infrared and reactive 3D obstacle avoidance technology to help it get around obstacles like furniture, walls, and other obstacles. However, the S8 Pro Ultra takes things a step further by adding a dual camera which can detect objects and determine whether they're an object that is a wall or a different surface. It then can alter its course in a way that is automatic and clean around the objects without missing a step.
It's the most expensive model I've tested however it also comes with the most features. Its sleek and angular design is eye catching, and it only has three physical buttons. The power button, which also restarts the cleaning process mop function, a button for cleaning that doubles as a child-lock, and a home-button to bring the robot to its dock. The hinged lid opens to reveal a 350ml trash bin and 200ml tank of water. The water tank will empty itself and the bin is auto-filling.
The only drawback I could find with this model was that the VibraRise mop pads mount isn't removable. While you can replace the mopping cloth (if needed) however, it's a hassle to remove the mount for manual washing. I've found that any plush carpet the robot crosses will come into contact with the Velcro-like fastener system on the mount, and can cause abrasions.
The S8 Pro Ultra has a number of smart features that include support for Google Home, Amazon Alexa and Siri. The Roborock app is where you can manage and set up these advanced features. It also includes maps and advanced mopping options. The app lets you schedule cleanings and monitor the battery's lifespan. You'll need to go through a series of steps to activate voice control on this model. It's a shame considering the performance otherwise.
3. Dreame X40
The Dreame X40 is an industry-leading robot vacuum and mop that has outstanding suction power, advanced mowing capabilities, and a variety of innovative features. robot vacuum hoover allows you to customize and efficiently clean while reducing time.

The X40 will also keep track of its progress and notify you when it is finished.
The X40 is easy to maintain and has numerous features that make it a great option for busy families. The docking station can automatically cleans the dustbin and mop pads before refilling them with cleaning solution and fresh water. It can also tell when the mop pad is filled and notify you when it overflows, thus reducing the need for manual maintenance.
4. L20 Ultra
The L20 Ultra robot is one of the most expensive models available on the market. It has a number of characteristics that make it stand out. The mops are equipped with a new feature called Smart DuoScrub that uses two high-speed mops to scrub floors more thoroughly than the standard method, and it comes with a high maximum suction power of 7,000Pa. This is significantly higher than the Roborock S8 Pro Ultra or Ecovacs Deebot T20 Omni, and it can clean pet hair and smaller dirt particles as well as picking up spills and wet spots.
The mops are also dried and cleaned inside the base station after each use. This is an excellent feature because it prevents the build-up of odours and mould in storage, and also makes mop systems more efficient. It's a system that we haven't yet seen on other robot vacuums and mop models and could be a great method of keeping your home hygienic for longer.
There's an impressive amount of settings on offer, including the ability to schedule cleaning and adjust a number of different preferences. The app lets you make these settings or you can make use of the buttons on the device itself. The app is simple to use and has many options to customize your cleaning routine. It also comes with several features that aren't offered on other robots, such as the Clean Genius Mode, which automatically increases suction whenever it detects dust particles.
The L20 Ultra is also one of the most fashionable robots we've seen on the market, sporting metallic and white colors that looks classy and sophisticated. It is a little heavier at 4kg than some of the other robots listed on this list, but it's still not too heavy. It is solid and well-built. The mopping design is also excellent and the double-rotating mop is great for hard floors as well as in corners. The MopExtend feature allows them to reach even 2mm below the baseboards.
